Patrick Agosta Obituary
LANCASTER - Patrick G. Agosta, 84 of Lancaster, Ohio passed away on Sunday, March 25, 2018 at Fairfield Medical Center.
He was born on December 19, 1933 in Lancaster, Ohio. He was a graduate of Lancaster High School class of 1953, a Korean Conflict veteran serving in the US Air Force and retired from Anchor Hocking Glass Corporation.
Patrick is survived by his wife of 64 years, Flora (Anderson) Agosta; sons, Dennis (Sherri) Agosta of Lancaster, Ohio and David (Stephanie) Agosta of Granville, Ohio; daughter, Debra (Chris) Nagle of Millersport, Ohio; grandchildren, Teresa (Anthony) Hoover, Brian (Stacie) Agosta, Kevin (Christa)Nagle, Amy (Bradley) Case and Pavel Agosta; many great grandchildren, brothers, Neil (Mary Jo) Agosta and Dwayne Agosta; sister, Donna (Dean) Kitchen and many nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Michael and Dona Agosta, brothers, Veto, Paul, Charles, Daniel and Robert Agosta, sisters, Alvera Dickson, Lena Groff, Mary Clark and Virginia Staten, mother-in-law and father-in-law, Bennett and Ola Anderson.
Funeral service will be held Friday, March 30, 2018 at 10:30 a.m. in the FRANK E. SMITH FUNERAL HOME CHAPEL, 405 N. COLUMBUS ST., LANCASTER., OHIO 43130 with Pastor William Lavely officiating. Burial will follow in Floral Hills Memory Gardens with the Lancaster Veterans Burial Detail conducting military rites at the cemetery. Friends may visit Thursday from 6-8 p.m. at the funeral home.

The Agosta family has suffered a great loss.
Uncle Pat was always there to help and offer advice following the death of his brother and my father Veto.

Oh the heavy heart I have with reading that Pat has passed. I always thought he was such a great guy. It was always so nice seeing him at the Lehman family reunions. Enjoyed talking with him whenever I'd run into him someplace. May treasured memories of the times you shared give you all comfort. We are all grateful for his service to our great nation. I am so sorry to hear of Pats passing. He was my neighbor for 45 years. He was a wonderful husband, father, grandfather and friend. He was always ready to help anyone that needed assistance and I will miss him greatly. My sympathy to Flora and his family.
