BREMEN: Phillip Pace, 71, of Bremen, died unexpectedly Tuesday, October 15, 2013. He was born December 9, 1941 in Redfield (Perry County), Ohio to Arthur and Gertrude Harris Pace.
He is survived by his wife, Dianne (Hammer) Pace; son, Randall (Kitty) Pace; daughter, Christine (Rusty) Bitz; four grandchildren, Nichole (Justin) Walter, Cody (Heather) Masteller, Tyler Masteller, Alyssa Bitz; four great-grandchildren, Sierrah and Naythen Walter, Aiden and Audrey Masteller; and baby Scarlett, due to arrive next March; twin sister, Phyllis "Sis" Mosser; and many nieces, nephews and extended family.
Phil was preceded in death by his parents; grandparents; sisters, Anna Blanton, Patricia Baker and Billie Perry; brothers-in-law, John Mosser, Marvin Baker and Dale Hammer; father and mother-in-law, Ivan and Thelma (Klinger) Hammer; nieces, Diane Blanton, Teresa Blanton Edwards and several aunts, uncles and cousins.
Phil was retired from Superior Glass Fibers.
Visitation will be held Friday from 2-4 and 6-8 PM at the Morgan Funeral Home, 124 Fort Street, Bremen. Funeral services will take place in the funeral home on Saturday at 10 AM with Rev. Clyde Boring officiating. Graveside services will follow at Grandview Cemetery, Bremen.
