Phyllis A. Thompson

LANCASTER: Phyllis A. Thompson, 77, of Lancaster, Ohio passed away Tuesday, March 24, 2015 at Main Street Terrace Nursing Home.

She was a member of Pleasant Hill United Methodist Church, Farm Bureau Council 1 and a loving mother and grandmother.

Phyllis is survived by her son, Bart (Kathy) Thompson; daughter, Pamela Cooper all of Lancaster, Ohio; eight grandchildren, Brock, Luke, Eli Thompson, Dusti Wears and Ben Thompson, Colten, Chelsea and Sophia Cooper; five great-grandchildren; sister, Carol (Jerry) Wagner of Hide-Away-Hills; daughter-in-law, Vicki Thompson of Lancaster, Ohio; several nieces, nephews; and close friend, Dottie Turner of Somerset, Ohio.

A special thank you to the nursing staff at Main Street Terrace Nursing Home for their love and care of Phyllis.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Delmas "Harry" Thompson; son, Bret Thompson and twin sons, Brad and Brady Thompson; parents, Delmar and Marvine Bell.

Caring Cremation® has taken place by the FRANK E. SMITH FUNERAL HOME AND CREMATORY, 405 N. COLUMBUS ST., LANCASTER, OHIO 43130. Friends may visit Friday, March 27, 2015 from 5-8 p.m. at the funeral home.

Sorry to hear of your loss, I was her night shift aide at MSTCC for so long. Even after I quit I came to visit her and bring her goodies! She was such a wonderful woman! Truly will be missed! I send my deepest sympathies

Pam,Carolyn, Bart and Family,
I am so sorry for your loss. Phyllis and I grew up as best friends and enjoyed many good times, during our school years. We have managed to keep in touch, over the passing years and I will miss our telephone chats. My prayers and thoughts are with you.
