Rita Poling Obituary
Lancaster - Rita K. Poling, 91, of Lancaster, passed away on July 11, 2021 at the Pickering House. She was born to the late Bernard and Ida Wildermuth on November 2, 1929 in Lancaster.
Throughout her life, Rita enjoyed bowling and playing golf. She loved taking care of her home, and her beloved cat Callie.
Rita is survived by her daughters, Jenny (Dan) Miller, Kathy Queen, and Laura (Bob) Mong; son, Doug (Linda) Jones; twelve grandchildren; twenty two great grandchildren; three great great grandchildren; twin brother, Max Wildermuth; brother, Tom (Helen) Wildermuth; and many nieces and nephews.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Paul E. Poling; daughter, Becky Childers; brothers, Phil, Paul and Sam Wildermuth; sister, Mary Jane Wiseman; and parents.
Caring Cremation has taken place by the FRANK E. SMITH FUNERAL HOME AND CREMATORY. Burial will take place at a later date in Maple Grove Cemetery, Lancaster.
Rita's family would like to thank the staff of FairHoPe Hospice and the Pickering House for their care of Rita.
