Brad Williams Obituary

Brad Allen Williams 1980- 2024 Brad Allen Williams, 44, peacefully went to be with his Lord on May 3, 2024, with his mother by his side after a courageous battle with cancer.

Brad was born to Kent and LuAnn Williams in Bloomsburg, Pennsylvania. He resided on the family dairy farm in Kulp, Pennsylvania. Brad graduated from Columbia-Montour Area Vocational Technical High School in 1999. After high school, Brad worked at Buckhorn TA and Metropolitan Trucking before his dreams led him to attend WyoTech, earning a degree in Motorsport Chassis Fabrication and Diesel Technology in 2010. Upon graduation, Brad was offered a position as an instructor at the college but later left to start his own company, Western Skies Transportation LLC. This allowed Brad to travel and experience the beauty of the United States. After WyoTech's rebranding, Brad was contacted to rejoin the staff, which he gladly accepted due to his love for teaching.

While in Laramie, Brad became a mentor, assisting students in gaining confidence, direction, and knowledge for the trade. He strived to ensure every student had the best possible experience. His entertaining lectures and his loving demeanor have touched many students over the years. Brad loved WyoTech deeply and enriched many students' lives while there. Not only was Brad loved by the students at WyoTech, but he was loved by all staff members and the owner as well.

Brad lived and enjoyed life his way. He loved being outdoors, hunting, fishing, playing softball, and spending time with his friends. Brad was always upbeat with a genuine and authentic desire to make lives around him better. Brad was exceptionally good at finding adventure, and fun seemed to follow him wherever he went. Brad also was a founding member of the Lumberjacks riding club, whose sole purpose is community outreach. Brad came up with the motto "do unto others."

In addition to his parents, Brad is survived by his brother Michael (Elizabeth) Williams, Catawissa, PA; daughter, Brianne (Ryan) Schaffer and grandson Elliot, of Valley View, PA; numerous uncles, aunts, and cousins. Brad had many friends who became family including Dave, Jim, Rusty, Lisa & Eliot, Coty, Mike, Jay, Jess, Jodi, Chad, Munch, Kyle, and Randy. Brad will be missed dearly by family and friends near and far, especially his beloved companion Kota, the dog Brad rescued.

To honor Brad's memory, we are holding a celebration of his life on June 29th, 2024, at 9:00 am at WyoTech in Laramie, WY. Please join us as we come together and commemorate Brad, who touched the hearts of everyone he encountered with his kindness, humor, and unwavering dedication to his loved ones. This celebration will also be live-streamed for those unable to attend. A second celebration will be held at Kulp United Methodist Church in Catawissa, PA, at a date TBD.

In lieu of flowers, Brad requests donations be made to Love Trades Foundation, PO Box 1410, Laramie, WY 82070-1410-Memo: Brad Williams Scholarship Fund.
