I have wonderful memories of Ben..many pictures of our trail rides together..I am actually back here in Las Vegas visiting my son and thought of Ben driving in...I feel so blessed to have known Ben..he was truly one of a kind..he thought enough of my horsemanship that he allowed me to ride his best horse Partner..then Dulce and Joe..I miss them all!!

I am in shock. Ben, Irv, Joe and I rented a house in Las Vegas together back in 1967. Then we all went our separate ways. I found Ben, again sometime around 2005 and flew up to visit. I loved seeing how happy he was and how much he loved his life, his friends and his horses.

Ben was such a sweet man..I had the honor of trail riding with him and others in the group. He showed me every trail in the Pecos and we rode El Porvinir every Friday for almost 2 years. He will be missed. I was deeply saddened to hear of his passing...happy trails until we meet again...
