Juan Crespin Obituary
He was born on Feb. 5, 1938, to Hilario Crespin and Gregoria Apodaca-Crespin.
He enjoyed watching old western movies with his grandson. He worked for the Gallinas Ranch, former lead guitarist for the Mora Larks and played with the Our Lady of Sorrows Church choir.
A Catholic, he attended Our Lady of Sorrows Church in Las Vegas.
He was preceded in death by his parents: Hilario and Gregoria Crespin; mother and father-in-law: Pablo and Apolonia Ulibarri; wife: Rose Ulibarri-Crespin; daughters: Ida and Sadie Crespin; son: Leroy Crespin; sister: Maria Crespin; numerous brothers and sisters-in-law; special friend: Juan Dedios Benavidez.
He is survived by his son: Onesimo Larry Crespin and companion Maxine from Las Vegas; daughters: Lupe Maria Fernandez and Sadie Crespin and companion Johnny Mares both from Las Vegas; grandchildren: Tracy Crespin and companion Earl, Ashley Fernandez, Larry Romero Jr., (special grandson) Kalem Crespin, and Dwight Mares; great-granddaughter: Amry Fernandez; son-in-law: Joseph Garcia from Las Vegas; brother: Fermin Crespin and wife Felecita; sister: Helen Crespin; brothers: Benny Crespin, Isidro Crespin and wife Theresa; sister: Marie Padilla; all from San Geronimo; special friends: Isabel Benavidez and family, and Levi Archuleta all from Las Vegas; numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
Rosary services will be held at 7 p.m. Thursday at Our Lady of Sorrows Church in Las Vegas.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Friday at Our Lady of Sorrows Church in Las Vegas with Father Douglas Mitchell as celebrant. Interment will be at San Geronimo Cemetery in San Geronimo, with the following serving as casket bearers: Rick Padilla, Ron Padilla, Joseph Garcia, Leonard De Herrera Jr., Andrew Crespin and Edward Crespin. Serving as honorary bearers will be all his grandchildren.
