Patricia Tapia

1963 - 2021

Patricia "Patsy" Tapia, 56, was called home by the Lord on Aug. 17, 2021.
She was born Aug. 12, 1963, to parents Leonardo and Odelia Tapia.
Patricia spent her life being a kind servant to those she loved. She worked for Valley Elementary School as a Secretary for 13 years. She was so loved by her students and family alike. She received her Associate's Degree in 2009 from Luna Community College in Early Childhood Development with dreams of becoming a teacher.
She spent most of her retired days crafting and baking. She loved to crochet, spending most of her evenings, needle in hand, crafting a blanket of love for all of her family, friends, and kind strangers she felt needed one. Patricia was a loyal and devoted catholic and touched so many people's lives with her kindness and willingness to help all those in need.
She was a die-hard Bronco fan and would call her nieces and nephews on game days to make a bet that her Broncos would win. She was always so proud of her family's accomplishments. She never missed any event, she was the woman behind the camera to make sure she captured all the special memories that she could.
She is preceded in death by her father Leonardo Tapia; grandparents, Rosendo and Julia Tapia; Raymondo and Vicenta Padilla, Samuel Tapia, Jenny Castellano-Bhars, Joe Padilla, Emilio Lovato, Ignacio Lovato, Raymond Padilla, David Padilla, Clara Trujillio, Lilian Gutierrez, Rose Saiz.
She is survived by her mother Odelia Tapia; aunts and uncles, Estella Lovato, Erlinda Tapia, Daniel (Patsy) Tapia, Carla Tapia, Chabela Lovato, Mary and Junior Tapia, Angie Martinez, Gavina Valencia (Robert), Tina Montano, Nat Padilla, Julia (Benny) Ortiz, Dolores Tapia; sisters and brother-in-laws, Rebecca (Andy) Romero, Valerie Tapia (Henry), and Guadalupe (Daniel) Herrera; nieces and nephews, Isaiah (Tracy Romero), Abby, Elijah, Emilee Romero, Andrew (Nicole) Romero, Iris, and Rosie Martinez, Andrez and Nick Romero, Samuel and Kaelee Romero, Michelle and Kaerah Tapia, Henry Flores Jr, Moses (Jaime) Flores, Mozaiuz, Zeronikah and Khelannie Flores, Destiny (Steven) Romero, Jordan Duran, Marisol, Angelica, and Danika Herrera; and many loving cousins, god children, and friends.
Pallbearers will be nephews, Isaiah, Andrew, Samuel, Henry, Moses, and Elijah.
A Rosary and Funeral mass will be held for Lenny and Patsy on Saturday, Sept. 11, 2021 at the San Miguel del Vado Church in San Miguel. The interment will follow in the San Miguel Del Vado Cemetery.
