Alberta was one of my dearest friends and changed my life. She always had high expectations of her students and friends. Her mind was always thinking about what is next and how can we improve life situations. I will miss her a great deal but feel blessed to have had the experience of her presence in my life.

I had Ms. Dredla as a teacher at HPHS in the late 50s/early 60s. She made a lasting impression on me. I have one of her poems on a bookmark. Society & the world has lost a wonderful, caring woman.
