February 7, 1947 - July 12, 2015 Angela Ma Wong was born on February 7, 1947 in Nanjing, China. She was a 26 year survivor of breast cancer. On July 12, 2015, the Lord took her home and she is at peace in a better place. Angela was a teacher, writer, publisher, intercultural consultant, Feng Shui expert and entrepreneur. She was an active member of the Rotary Club for over 20 years, co-founder and past president of the Chinese Historical Society of Southern California and Volunteer at the Banning Museum. She was the recipient of numerous awards from the State of California and the City of Los Angeles for humanitarian and outstanding service to communities. Most recently, she was presented the Hall of Fame 2014-2015 award by Rotary's District 5280, Los Angeles. Angi, as she was affectionately known, was passionate, energetic, articulate and spirited. Many people were inspired by her generosity, sincerity and zest for life. She is survived by her loving husband Norman, children Jason (Bill), Wendy (Javi), Jamie (Bob), Steve. She is also survived by siblings Andrew Ma, Mary and Zhen-sheng Chen, James and Dora Hsu, Nancy Tsui, Amy and Sam Wei, Dixon (d. 2011) and Eileen Hsu. A memorial service to celebrate her life will be held 3:30 PM Saturday, July 25, 2015 at All Saints Episcopal Church, 132 N. Euclid Ave., Pasadena, CA, 91101. A private interment service for family members will be held at Rose Hills Memorial Park.
