Anita Kaye Obituary

Beloved friend and Auntie, danced into this world on May 5, 1937 in Tulsa, Oklahoma, and twirled her way into the next on December 1, 2025 in West Hollywood, California.
Anita moved through life with curiosity, laughter, and a glow that made everything around her brighter. Quirky, funny, and full of surprise, she had a gift for turning ordinary moments into something magical. Even when she got pissed, her dramatic little sighs and perfectly timed comments were so funny they became part of her charm.
Wildly bedazzled, she was the queen of glitter, rhinestones, and googly eyes. Her colorful fashion sense and boundless imagination reflected her enormous capacity for love. She adored Old Hollywood films, or anything Robert Redford.
The Southwest held her heart, particularly the stories and artistry of the Pueblo peoples and the ancient Anasazi. She wished for her ashes to be scattered in Sedona, Arizona, a landscape that felt as mystical and beautiful as she was.
Anita leaves behind a devoted circle of friends who will forever hold her laughter, her stories, and her unmistakable sparkle close. She was preceded in death by her parents, Alvin C. Krupnick and Ruth Peebles Krupnick, and by her brothers, Robert and Gene Krupnick.
May her next adventure be as vivid and wondrous as the life she lived.
