Anita Smukler

October 21, 1932 - July 9, 2018 It is with great sadness that the family of Anita Smukler announces her peaceful passing, at her home, after a brief illness, on Monday, July 9, 2018. She was 85 years old. Anita will be lovingly remembered by her husband, Steve, and her children, Leslie and Alan. She will also be forever remembered by her many close friends and co-workers. Anita was predeceased by her son, Richard Smukler. Anita, who worked for many years at Sinai Temple and Sephardic Temple in Los Angeles, was a longtime resident of Playa del Rey, California. She was an avid sun-lover who enjoyed horse racing, Korean soap operas, and spending her retirement traveling the world. Anita will be laid to rest at a private service alongside her son, Richard, at Oak Hills Memorial Park, San Jose, California.
