Anne Schmitt Obituary

Schmitt, Anne Marie Beloved companion of Bob Stewart passed away on April 26, 2006. Anne Marie won nine Emmy's for producing The $10,000/$25,000/$100,000 Pyramids. Annie was a wonderful hostess, cook and friend to her many staffs and celebrity guests. Her career began in 1957 with "The Price Is Right" and she continued producing award winning shows for the next 30 years. Annie was a member of the Academy of Television Arts & Sciences. She was a major contributor to Actors and Others for Animals and was dedicated to feeding the homeless. She will be missed by all her family and friends. Funeral Services will be held on Saturday, April 29, 2006, at The Risen Christ Mausoleum Chapel at 9:30 a.m. followed by burial at Holy Cross Cemetery, 5835 West Slauson Avenue, Culver City, CA 90230. Arrangements under the direction of Holy Cross Mortuary (310) 836-5500.

Even though I had never met you in person while you were on this earth and involved in one of the most beloved and great television game shows (i.e. "Pyramid"), I felt like it was a sudden close loss of a family member. Rest in peace, Anne Marie...your name and presence shall never be forgotten, and you will be dearly missed.

I am a game show fan and I have to say that I'm very sorry to here about the passing of the wife of a great game show producer Bob Stewart. A lot of people is going to miss you. Let her be with the angels in Heaven.
