Barrington Bunce Obituary
Born Jan 12,1945 London East-ender, LA immigrant at 12, graduate of Grant HS, president of `The Chobins' Surf Club, surfer, artist, veteran, boat builder, animator, layout artist, master animation story-board artist, avid reader, film aficionado. Generous to a fault. Lover of women, Mexico, well-told stories, beautiful views, good friends, fleabag hotels, hand-carved masks, exotic birds. Hater of telephones, production meetings, memos, pomposity, bad scripts. Survived by his wife Arleen; his sister Margie, dozens of compadres and hundreds of people in bars from Oaxaca to Cambridge Bay who treasure sketches and cartoons done with the skill, style and love of life that he gave to us all. Slain by a vengeful pancreas June 14, 2005.
