Bruce Richard Goodman

1963 - 2022

December 30, 1963 - October 12, 2022 Mourning the sudden and untimely loss of Bruce Goodman, our loving father, son, loyal friend, and dedicated business partner who passed away in his home in Beverly Hills. Devoted son to his late mother Nami, Bruce is survived by his two children, Grant and Joelle, his father Martin (Bobbe), brother Scott (Kindra), former wife Brenda (mother of his children) and many cousins.
Bruce had a world of love for his children and was an unwavering presence in their lives. Everyone who knew him recognized his generosity, his kindness, and self-deprecating humor that could make you smile in any situation. He was born and raised in Los Angeles and graduated from University High School. An art lover, he attended NYU to study art history before returning to Los Angeles to work in the family company where he started at the bottom and was soon a key member of management. He then ran his own manufacturing business, later transitioning to a distribution business to work with his cousin, successfully providing large customers with his unique personal service, many becoming his good friends.
Bruce was an athlete and excelled at long distance running and biking, baseball and mountaineering. His joy for the outdoors was limitless as well as his talent for sports. He would plan hiking adventures from Mount Whitney to Mount Blanc, the colder the better. If there was snow he'd be there. On the baseball field he regularly hit home runs and earned the nickname "Big Bruce".
Bruce's enormous zest for life and his goodness and joy will truly be missed.
Services will be held at Hillside Memorial Park, October 24th at 2pm.
