Carlos Rodriguez Obituary

A visionary financial leader and beloved husband, father, son and brother passed away peacefully on December 16th at the age of 51. He fought a courageous battle, demonstrating unwavering grace and resilience throughout his journey.
Carlos joins his treasured daughter Miranda Lucille leaving behind his loving wife Gina Galasso and adoring son Giancarlo Nicolas. Carlos will be missed by countless family and friends who loved him dearly and deeply. His legacy of tenacity and strength is lovingly etched in the hearts of all that he leaves behind.
Carlos's professional journey began at Price Waterhouse in Los Angeles after graduating from USC. With his exceptional business savvy, communication and leadership skills, he advanced to attain his professional aspiration to become a Chief Financial Officer. Under his guidance, the companies he served witnessed unprecedented transformation and financial growth, solidifying his position as an industry leader.
Beyond his professional accomplishments, Carlos' primary love was his family and his desire to be the very best father and husband. He was passionate about supporting his son Giancarlo's endeavors and providing opportunities for youth to play soccer. An athlete in his own right, Carlos deeply understood the transformational power of sport. Carlos was an avid sports fan religiously supportive of his favorite teams. Carlos was a proud member of the Loyola High School Chain Gang, exemplifying his unwavering exuberance and zest for adventure.
Carlos embodied goodness. His unwavering determination, sharp wit, infectious laugh, and rich hugs will forever be cherished. Carlos served as a mentor, coach, and an adjunct professor reveling in the success and advancement of others.
If you would like to show your support, in lieu of flowers, Gina & Giancarlo ask that Carlos be remembered through the works of the USC Latino Alumni Association (LAA) Scholarship Fund or The Play Equity Fund.
Carlos will be remembered with love and fondness at his services:

Dear Gina en Giancarlo, we are still sad about the loss of Carlos, but the memories are so engraved in our minds. We saw you two years ago in Holland, and had a very nice time. Carlos was a joy to be with. Thank God he saved the day with his barbecue skills. A great guy, extremely generous to us and the family. We will miss him and we look forward to embrace you two and celebrate his life in Europe or the US. Love, your brother, sister in law, niece and nephew, Garcia family
