Cristina Santos Boags
August 5, 1972 - May 15, 2013
On 5/15/13, Cristina Santos Boags passed away from complications related to metastatic breast cancer. Tina was born on 8/5/72, in Paranaque, Metro Manila, Republic of the Philippines. Tina attended High School at St. Paul College of Paranaque, Batch 1989. In 1994, Tina graduated from Our Lady of Fatima College, in Valenzuela City, with a Bachelor of Science in Physical Therapy. In 1996, Tina immigrated to the United States, settling in Los Angeles, California. In 1998, Tina became a Registered Physical Therapist in California. Tina took great joy and pride in her profession, considering herself a "healer". On 6/19/04, Tina married Martin Robert Boags at St. Clare of Assisi, Roman Catholic Church in Santa Clarita, California. Tina was a devout Catholic, and dedicated member of the Filipino Ministry, at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic Church in Newhall, California. At the time of her death, Tina knew that she was loved by many friends, family members and colleagues, all of whom will miss her.
Funeral Services will be held on Friday, 5/31/13, at 10:30 am, at Our Lady of Perpetual Help, in Newhall, CA. Tina asked that donations be made in her name to Our Lady of Perpetual Help, in lieu of flowers.

I remember the light in her eyes and the big smile on her beautiful face when she realized that she was in love with Martin Boags. I am so glad that he and she were able to be together, albeit, not long enough. What a sweetheart she was, so giving and so loving and so fun. Rest in peace dear sweet girl! 'Mama Mo'
