My son David and I just heard about Ed passing over. I had you both on my mind the last few days very strongly. Now I know why. We send you our love and honor to have connected with the two of you in our lives. I wrote to you both and we talked by phone many years ago. Then We met in person briefly at your appearance in Carbondale, Ill College when you both presentd the wonderful talk on your work. Years ago you may recall I sent many pictures to you of my home and it was studied in your classes. You both wanted to come here one day because it is so positive and full of love, many angels. I first read about you two in elementary school and thought that you had the best job in the world. From then on I read everything about you. Dear Lorraine, My heart goes out to you & your family. Ed will be missed by myself and my children, Mary, Michael, Joe, Lisa, Linda & Erick. I remember the 1st day we all met in the art barn behind your home. Mary had displayed a hidden talent and I brought her to you & Ed to be evaluated. The kids & I picked her up hours later and Ed told me there was nothing he could do for her. I said what! and he said she had a God gifted talent and he could only teach her different technique's and different forms of paints. I was just thrilled and she won 3 blue ribbons at the Monroe Fair 3 years in a row. Thanks to you and Ed. I will always remember that day and the smile on his face and the twinkle in his eye. Ed has meant so much to us, as he has many people. I have more memories than Steve, since I had known Ed for over 40 something years. I can remember the days spent with him and my Sister--Judy.
When Steve came into my life, Ed was just as giving to him as well. Ed gave us with money to help with the expense of our wedding and every time he would come over to our house for dinner, he would always leave money hidden somewhere in our house . He loved helping and giving to people.
Your loss is a great one, as it is for my Sister Judy. You both shared the love of a good man.

I don't have to explain to you what Ed has meant to me for 45 years. He has guided me most of my life and I am postive he will continue to guide me from above. I met the both of you in 1972 when my friends and I were working on a project for high school - we had seen you speek at a local college and met up with you 2 and proceeded with our report on the super-natural. Ed gave up much insite into areas that none of us had known about - and we receive and A+ for our report in school - In fact the report was so good we had to present it to a number of classes in school. Thank you both for all the help you gave me and my friends. Later on on life we had met up again thru other people. Lorraine,Tony,Judy and family - I was awakened early this morning only to be informed of the tragic news of Ed's passing. It is with a heavy heart that I write to you now to express my deepest sympathy and offer you and your family my most sincere condolences. Laurel and I were deeply moved upon hearing the news and we spent some time today reminiscing of all the good times we shared together. Ed was a good friend and mentor; many,especially me,learned much from his teachings. My only regret is that I was not able to see my friend again and shake his hand before he passed. Although I have never met either of you, your work in the paranormal has always been of such an interest to me. May Heaven welcome him with the warmth and compassion that he has shown others. Lorraine, How sad to read your loving husband has passed. You and I spoke in 2003 after my 6 year old son Jensen had passed and you were shown a photo of his sister's first day of school, showing his presense, given to you from a reporter doing a story on us and then coming to interveiw you,Pat Tentabaulm. You brought such comfort to us.You spoke much of your husband and how ill he was, but your voice was so full of love and devotion.You of all know he is still very near. Love transends all dimensions.I am sure that all Ed has assisted from the other side were lined up to greet and welcome him.Tears of longing will fill your eyes but his love will always fill your heart.Smiles resume when we open the gifts they leave behind.Godspeed my friend

Ed was one of the greatest people I've ever known.He was warm,kind and had a wonderful sense of humor.His love for animals was widely known.I witnessed his compassion and extreme love for these wonderful creatures and enjoyed working with him and his wonderful wife, Lorraine, for this cause.He will be sadly missed by many people and I was proud and happy to have known him.Rest in peace,sweet one.You will never be forgotten.
