Elsie Laraba Obituary

August 5, 1931 - March 26, 2014 Elsie Laraba, 82, beloved wife, mother, grandmother, sister and friend, passed away peacefully at home in Lomita, California on March 26, 2014. Elsie was born and raised in Kilauea, Kauai. She was preceded in death by her son, Richard Laraba and her brother, James Mariano. She is survived by her loving husband of 58 years, Richard Laraba, Sr., her daughter Kathryn (Laraba) Prodan, sister Sally and her husband Harry Gayagas of Kapaa Kauai, daughter-in-law Karen Laraba, sister-in-law Peggy Mariano, grandsons Brennen Laraba, Kyle and Tyler Codey, granddaughter, Kaileia Laraba, as well as numerous nieces, nephews and friends. Her warm smile, infectious laugh and beautiful spirit will be the memory that will live forever in our hearts. The family is respecting Elsie's wishes; therefore, no services are planned.
