Thank you, Eric, for speaking at Sherwood Oaks Film School, formerly Sherwood Oaks Experimental College. You were an inspiration to so many students. On a personal note, I enjoyed our lunches. You were a class act. Say hello to Gary for all of us.

Dear Weissmann Family,
Eric was not only wonderful to work for but a true friend, a generous and wise mentor and a great regaler of anecdotes. It was my great fortune to have known him. The void must be vast and I wish you heart's ease.

Eric was one of the finest lawyers and people I´ve ever met. He was a role model for me, and a friend. A true diplomat, a wise man and one of the greats. I cherish the time I spent with him. I was lucky enough to see the love between him and Mary Louise. Simply put, a class act. A kind man.

This is Jeremy Williams. I worked extensively with Eric in the 70s when I was his associate at the Kaplan firm. We worked together closely for quite a few of his clients, most notably, Robert Aldrich and Robert Altman. Eric was a great mentor and role model and very enjoyable to work with always. He exuded charm and infectious enthusiasm! In Post Kaplan days I would occasionally meet him for breakfast or lunch in Encino. I am grateful for the time we spent together!
