Erik Braunn Obituary
Songwriter, musician, producer passed away on July 25, 2003 of cardiac arrest. Born Aug. 11, 1950 in Pekin, Illinois. Erik started his music career at age 4. He achieved stardom in the late 1960s as lead guitarist for Iron Butterfly of "Ina-Gadda-Da-Vida" fame. He continued to write and produce music until his death, working on an album which many consider his finest work. He loved music more than anything. He is survived by his wife, Gail Braunn and his three brothers, Gary, Jeff and Ron Davis. Services will be held at Bastian & Perrott Mortuary 18728 Parthenia St., Northridge, California, 818-886-8600 on Tues., July 29 at 11:00 AM.
