Just saw him on Match Game from years ago. A most charming young man. I checked Facebook and his obituary popped up. I'm so happy he reached goal of becoming a doctor of medical dentistry. Rest in peace dear Florian.

Earlier today, I saw Dr. Thompson on a couple Match Game shows from 1980 shows. He was so well spoken and handsome. So I looked him up on the Internet and found out that sadly he passed away in 2020. I would´ve tried to contact him just to say hello and then I saw him on Match Game where he won $10,000. He seemed like such a lovely person. I am so sorry to read about his passing. I am watching a very old episode of Match Game. A handsome young man named Florian Thompson was a contestant. I wondered if he made it to medical school as he was planning. I googled his name and was happy to see that he fulfilled his goal and had a wonderful life. God bless his family.

So sorry to have to hear this news concerning my dear friend Florian who I will always treasure from our days together back in Boston in the 1980's.
Florian was always a source of knowledge and a helping hand with regard to Boston University matters and off-campus activities concerning daily life of living in the Boston area!
He was an inspiration to all of the Black students at BU Medical and Dental Schools and was lots of fun to be around.
I have been out of the country on-assignment with the United Nations so I am only just now hearing about this.
I wish for his sister and his family to know that he was a great guy who God placed here to do great things!
He has fulfilled his Godly mission, and now God has recalled him home to his heavenly mansion where there is no more pain and suffering!

I remember Florian as the younger brother of my best friend Adelia, back then he was a really a little monster just like all our younger sisters and brothers, but he was also a joy to have around at times!!! I wish we had kept in touch our last conversation meant a lot to me!! Rest In Peace with our Lord and say hello to your parents for me!
