He was a very special cousin to me in our younger years and I remember him as always being calm, cool and collective. It's always a treat for me when I visit L.A. and drive by the park named after him. We should all be so lucky. You have left your imprint on all who have known you and you will live on in our hearts and memories.

Hon. Frank Fenton was a tireless champion of our public schools and a stalwart advocate for the community he served. His commitment to a superior education for all students was inspired by his devotion to his own children and their education. He will be greatly missed by this community. The Beverly Hills Unified School District extends our sympathies and support to his wife Judie Fenton, his son former School Board President Steven Fenton, and all of Frank's family. - Howard Goldstein President, Board of Education.
