Doc Shah the man. It is not what he has, nor even what he does, which directly expresses the worth of a man, but what he is. This man had that "it" quality. Able to make everyone feel like they mattered.

George Dordigan - "Doc Shah" - My unforgettable, larger than life, not a moment wasted, balls to the wall, free as a bird, get out there and getcha some kind of guy. He was a lot of things to a lot of people.

George was my grandfather, my beloved "Gramps" - only wish we could've had a bit more time together.

Very nice to read all of the comments here.

Doc Shah...a true legend. The Doctor showed us all how to live, and squeeze every drop out of each second of life. What a supernova of energy and joy. Phillip got it right: he made all of us feel special and valued with his unconditional love and acceptance. You may not have felt he was YOUR best friend...but you were his. Rest in Peace, my friend. I look forward to watching 'em run with you again.

Dearest Anne: You to me have been in your quiet & graceful way, one of the most solid true blue positive sources of energy I have ever had the pleasure of being part of. If by chance I miss seeing you on tuesday; know my heart and spirit are present.
My best to you dear Anne. David Broida

George...The Doctor....the only father I ever had....and while you have been called to the big race track in the sky.....
The memories will live on forever in my heart.
For 37 years, I have enjoyed the privilege of your unconditional love, friendship and caring which will be missed but never forgotten.
The departure from the stage of this extraordinary actor will be a vacuum in the lives of all those that his friendship touched.
Doc, I will always love you.

THE Doctor, my 2nd father, filled me with sheer joy from the gaze in his eyes to the spirit in his heart. The spirit of his soul was so omnipresent. He was the truth. He lived like a warrior. My gracious admiration abounds. He would say:"winners are winners, losers are losers" and you knew where you stood. I will always lover the man deeply. David Broida
