Gerald Kessler Obituary

Gerald Kessler, a natural health industry icon, has passed away at the age of 80. Mr. Kessler died peacefully surrounded by loved ones. A giant of a man in stature, heart and soul, Mr. Kessler dedicated his life to enhancing the wellness of millions of consumers around the world. But none were touched more by Mr. Kessler than his family, his friends, and hundreds of employees in the Nature's Plus family, to whom he showed boundless dedication, loyalty and love. From humble roots Mr. Kessler went on to develop over 1000 Nature's Plus products over the course of 40 years, building a nutritional supplement empire. As a chief architect of the Dietary Supplement Health and Education Act (DSHEA), Mr. Kessler helped secure Americans' right to take supplements. In more recent years, Mr. Kessler founded a movie studio, GruntWorks Entertainment, and realized lifelong dreams by producing, directing and acting in several feature films. Mr. Kessler is survived by his loving wife Meadow, children Craig, Sheree and grandchildren Marshall, Michael, Steven, Kaleigh, and Krystal, and preceeded in death by his son Bryan. Funeral Services will be held at 11am on Wednesday, March 25, 2015 at Loper Funeral Chapel in Solvang, California. Interment follows at Oak Hill Cemetery in Solvang. Loper Funeral Chapel, Directors.

Mr.K ..... I will never THE world will never have another Mr.Kessler. I truly loved him. He was my friend in heart my boss on paper. I miss him soooo much, my heart aches. He taught me so much ive never met someone as intelligent as he and probably never will. I took care of Moses, Samson, Mr.Bear. I love the way he loved his animals. Mr.K had such a pure heart. I will forever miss him and i will never forget him and all the beautiful stories he told and the political conversations we had. Can't forget the jokes and magic tricks. The ONE thing i will always carry in my heart will be the memory of he and Meadow coming to see me at the hospital when I gave birth to my son Jacob. He sat there made me laugh, wished Jacob a good healthy life. He was MY friend and I love him.
Mr.K, I will never forget what you told me and I'm keeping our promise. You will forever live in my heart and when i cry it will be but for a moment because i will remember i will see you again.

I am very saddened to hear of Mr.K's passing. My mom, Shirley worked for him for 36 years.
They were very close. it meant so much to me and my family that he called the day before she passed. He was an intelligent and wonderful man. He was part of all of his employees lives. he will be missed.

My prayers to his children my childhood friends from Farmingdale N.Y. I remember the day at the bus stop I was jumping with a piece of wire and cut my knee open and Mr. Kessler was the one who took me home to his kitchen cleaned it up and butterflied it closed I was only six. His first wife would help my family and put us on the bus and be there after school to take us home until both my parents were home from work. The good old days.
