After all these years, I still miss Aunt Henny. She was kind and positive, and very smart. She had a gift for gab and encouraged everyone she met. She was my Mother's sister and best friend. I always smile when I think of her as she always made me feel loved and welcomed. I love you Aunt Henny

Henrietta was always such a joy to talk to. We loved her stories and the connections she was able to make when we spoke. Her heart was full of love. She was such a giving person and loved our family fully. We miss her!

When I was a little girl in Anaheim I use to play with Gretchen I always thought Henreitta was a very smart and classy lady, I have never heard her raise her voice.
My mom Rita Carr use to do her hair at my house 1 block away from her house, she was always very sweet and had great stories to tell my mom and Nellie, they both were a big part of my childhood. I use to thik it was so cool that Gretchen's house was on the corner where the crossing guard was to get to my elementary school, I knew if anything happened to me at that end of the street I could always go to Henrietta's home for refuge... She will be missed. A very sweet lady.

What a woman! I remember that Henrietta & Glen used to babysit me when I was a baby - or at least Henrietta used to always tell me of how cute I was and how she loved to take care of me, her and Glen. Henrietta was always present in my heart. She brought my mother a friendship she cherished. I was so glad that Gretchen and Henrietta came to see my mother just a few weeks before she went to Encinitas. She seemed like the same old Henri we all knew and loved. I will miss her and I know my mother, Nellie, will, too. Mom spent a long time looking over her obits in the Times & the Register. She was truly saddened to know her friend had passed. We spent hours talking about old times on Gilbert Street. Bye-Bye Sweet Henri!

Henrietta will be missed by all of the Haeberles. She was always there for my mom and for any of us if we ever needed anything. She was such a positive role model for all of us. I remember her great laugh and her kindness. She gave so much of herself to so many. She had a great sense of humor and always spoke directly and honestly. I loved her stories and her passion for life. Such a loving, caring lady. She will be missed by everyone who's life she touched! We all miss you Henrietta!

I will never forget Henrietta.Besides being one of my Mom's best friends, she was such a wonderful person. I'll never forget her laugh or her smiling face. I remember her and my mom talking on the phone for hours-or so it seemed! She always had such funny and interesting stories and so much energy! She will be missed.

Aunt Henrietta was a very special person to me. Mother died quite young and left five children. Unfortunately, we didn't have the proper guidance and direction that a mother offers. Over the years, it was my good fortune to be able to spend some summers with Uncle Glenn and Henrietta. I'll never forget (I was probably in my early teens)when Henrietta suggested that I learn to shave under my arms and my legs and pluck my eyebrows. These were eye-opening learning experiences for someone so immature. That summer she also gave me much needed wardrobe and make-up advice. It didn't end there. Henrietta and my Aunt Ruth had a mutual friend who had a teen-age son. Needless to say (probably after considerable prodding),the young man asked me to the movies! While he was very nice and I enjoyed the first date, it was not a romance. I always remember NEVER wanting to go home after staying with such a loving family. Rest in peace Aunt Henrietta

I cannot Imagine where I would be in my life without the positve infuence of Henrietta and her husband, Glenn. They helped to teach me patience, respect, Integrity, and kindness to others and so much more. Henrietta would read to me when I was a child and would turn the stories into an adventure with her personality. She was the best teacher, even though I never had her as a teacher. She took care of me when I was a child and will never forget the memories of that house on Gaymont street in Anaheim. I can never forget her smile or her terrific laugh... She is so much more than missed by me alredy.
I loved Henrietta Oder like a second Mom.

Henrietta was a long time, true friend with a positive outlook on life. She was opened minded and empathetic to
the misfortune of others - a devoted friend, always available
and willing to be of help if needed. We shall miss her amusing stories of our long forgotten experiences.

She had the memory of an elephant with details of our lives that even we had forgotten. She always had a laugh to share and that is how I will remember her.
