Henry Helfman Obituary
May 18, 1916 - February 1, 2009
Passed away at the age of 92 in Rancho Mirage, CA.
He was a beloved husband, father, grandfather and great-grandfather. He was pre-deceased by his wife, Charlotte, and is survived by his three sons, Steven Helfman (Peggy), Daniel Helfman (Angela La Salle) and Richard Helfman (Leanne); and grandchildren Lana, Kaye, Marcus and Lucas; and great grand-children Hanna, Conrad, Ruby, James, Curtis, George, Charlie and KC. His caregiver, Jackie Ladd and dear companion, Harriett Smuckler were by his side.
He was a dedicated Insurance Broker for over 50 years and was a past president and director of the San Fernando Valley Independent Insurance Agents Association.
His remains will be spread at sea. To honor his memory, please consider a donation to the Diabetes Association of America or a charity of your choice.

My thoughts and prayers are with the family. My husband, Charles Gelfand, was President of the Los Angeles Insurance Agents and Brokers Association and remembers Henry.
