Dear Cousins George, Steve, and David, I remember your Mom very fondly, from the reunions in 2005 and 1997 and from your parents' visit in 1994.

Sorry to hear of Cousin Hilda's passing, but pleased and proud that she made it to 98. I first met her on a visit to California in 1963. She was always a very kind and gentle lady who cared about all her relatives.

What a beautiful story about a woman who was loved by many. She must have touched many lives in the 98 years she lived so fully. She will live within all of her beloved family for generations to come.

My thoughts are with you, George. Your mother sounds like a most remarkable person. She had to be to raise a son like you!

You only had to meet Hilda one time for her undivided attention to you even in a crowded room. She engaged in conversation in Yiddish with my late partner Harry Fischman, also a survivor, when she spoke at Temple Menorah many years ago. Her light will never go out~

I am very sorry about what happened to Mrs. Hilda's family. Thank God, she is now resting in the bosom of Abraham. There is no more pain or sadness. She is now rejoicing in the presence of Our Almighty God. Our God is great, and in the Name of Our Lord Jesus Christ, He will comfort and strengthen your hearts. A big hug to each of your family. ME: I met Imelda Luna through a reference from Mrs. Warner & Rhonda Christences, her neighbors. I have been working with her there since 2020 cleaning her house. Hilda always showed me trust and love for me. She always offered me coffee. Sometimes she told me about her past life. I greatly admired her as a brave and hard-working woman in everything. A big hug to each of her family.

I will always have fond memories of Hilda singing at our Passover Seders when I was a student at UCLA and later, UC Riverside. She will be dearly missed.
