It was an honor to have known him. My best memory of him was when I saw him in June. His intelligence, wit, and joie de vivre were so keen that they shined brightly in his eyes.

Dear Diane, I am so sorry to hear of Howard's passing. I remember fondly the evening more than 20 years ago when you and he hosted me and my wife for dinner at your home after we discovered that we both lived in LA County. I am holding you in the Light. Bob Tannenbaum, Haverford '62

Howard was genuine. He was honest with everyone he dealt with. One cannot ask for anything more in a friend. I am still with a heavy heart thinking of his passing. Stay strong through this time and we are here for you as always.
