Over the years Bud Hoffman, our Uncle Bud took on the added roles of becoming our adopted father and our sons´ adopted grandfather.
With his own stoic nature, and twinkle in his eye, we remember Uncle Bud for his natural physical abilities, his ability to ski the slopes in Steamboat Springs up through his mid 80´s and to hike those same hills in the summer.
Fly Fishing was his ultimate dreamscape. Standing hip deep and flicking the rod so gently that no fish could resist the temptation. It was the dream of fishing that attracted our Aunt Mary. What a team they made.
By day Bud was my boss. A decisive professional dentist to the stars. His mannerisms and demanding ways matched closely to his unmatched abilities. I assisted him for years and he taught me his way. I learned from the best.
Our family mourns this day but we celebrate Bud Hoffman´s life and all those he touched along his journey. We will never forget you, Uncle Bud and we are greatful for the years we had with you and Mary.
What is somewhat ironic is that I worked for uncle Bud for 13 years and without failed each and every Friday I was either fired or I quit. It´s just fitting that here we are on a Friday and this Friday I wouldn´t be anywhere else than with you Bud.
Rest in peace Uncle Bud

We are sending our deepest sympathies to Mary and the Salzburg/Hoffman families. We are so very sorry for your loss. We have lovely memories of spending time together in Los Angeles, West Hartford and Steamboat. May Bud´s memory be a blessing.

There is no one that can match my "Uncle Bud". What a dream job I had working beside Beverly Hills best dentist. He will certainly be missed by my whole family who loved him as their our adopted dad and my son´s adopted grandfather.
RIP Bud
