A teacher of the most beautiful instrument , the violin , Suzuki Method.. She brought Music to the Hearts of children of all ages.It is a gift we cannot return.
Over the years I used to see her at VBS and suddenly there was an empty chair.

There are no words to express what Idell Low has meant to me and our family, particularly my mother. She gave us so much, not least of all the joy and gift of music. She was a force of nature and her spirit and love will always be with us. Deepest condolences to David, Danny, Dafna, and all the family.

Mrs. Low was my very dear violin teacher when I was growing up --studying with her is one of my happiest memories from childhood... I ended up becoming a professional violinist and teacher too. Mrs. Low was tremendously inspiring and I will deeply miss seeing her at SMPLA (the Suzuki group workshops Mrs. Low started which I've been attending again with my violinist daughter). Here's a photo of me as a kid (far left) performing with Mrs. Low (far right).

Idell Low was my very first violin teacher, who taught me from age 5 to 14. I have and will always remember her with tremendous love and gratitude for kindling in me a lifelong love of music, which to this day is the greatest joy in my life...the friends I have made, the places I have traveled, the emotions I have experienced...in a sense can all be traced back to my Saturday 8 AM lessons with her! Thank you, Mrs. Low -- you will be deeply missed but forever remembered by the thousands whose lives you've touched!

My life is touched forever by Idell Low, who was my violin teacher for many years. I am still playing (now viola), and passed on music to my children (violin/cello). I will always remember how she encouraged me - and sometimes pushed me - always with energy, excitement, and compassion.

I took my first training with her in 1997/8 : longterm training book 1. I'm so thankful for everything I learned from her. She was always so sweet, personal and unique. She always talked to me and asked how I'm doing esp in my teaching whenever I saw her at any Suzuki event or institute. She will be surely missed. Glad she got to live to 90.She will live on in all of us and our students...
