Irene Karney Obituary
While she had small town roots, she became a world traveler and spent many years raising her family in Geneva, Switzerland and Los Angeles, CA. She will always be remembered for her elegance, kindness, and generosity. Her family was her greatest joy. We loved her so.
She is survived by her three daughters, Susan Lieberman, Lori Lieberman and Kim McCarty, sons-in-law, Michael McCarty and Joseph Cali, brother Bud Cohn and his wife, Jacqueline, sister Marian May and her husband, Richard, as well as her grandchildren Clancy and Chas McCarty, Emily, Daniel and Will Scott and devoted nieces, nephews and cousins. In lieu of flowers, please make a donation to Shriners Hospitals for Children.

Irene was a first cousin, her mother and my mother were sisters I always remembering my visits to youngstown Ohio. Irene was one year younger than me, she was a beautiful young girl and grew to a beautiful women. Debbie, my wife lunched with Irene in LA

One of my very favorite cousins, that I so looked up to and admired. My father used to call Irene his favorite as well. I remember many joyous times in her presence and she will be greatly missed.
