Jack Seizer Obituary

Born in Des Moines, Iowa, passed away at the age 92 in Beverly Hills. Bob came to California as a high school senior. He met his wife of 68 years, at UCLA-where they were both editors of the Daily Bruin newspaper.

He loved sports and worked as a sports writer, director and producer in newspaper, radio, and television for four decades. He covered eight Olympic Games, producing the official film coverage for NBC. His last project in sports was as an Emmy winning creator and producer of the interview show "Sports Look," which became "Up Close." He was a member of the Directors Guild of America.

He enjoyed traveling, bridge, tennis and golf. He was a member of Brentwood Country Club. He was always humorous, quick-witted, loyal, loving, and a friend to all.

He was most proud of his family, who are so very proud of him as husband, father, and grandfather. He leaves behind his loving wife Fern, son Steven and daughter Susan, daughters-in-law Claudia and Catherine, and grandsons Daniel, David, Keith, Forrest, and Andrew. He considered himself a "lucky pup."

He loved his wonderful caregivers, Cecille, Maraj, Roberto, and Raymon-and we thank them for their devoted, tender care.

We all loved him to the moon and back!

Contributions in his memory to the Venice Family Clinic and the National Multiple Sclerosis Society, Southern California Chapter.
