Jacquelyn Jorgensen Obituary

JORGENSEN, Jacquelyn L. Born on September 25, 1927 in Chicago, IL, Jacquelyn L. Jorgensen passed away on the same day in 2006. She married John W. Jorgensen and has been an active member of the San Marino community since 1951. She was an active member in the San Marino Junior Alliance, active member and president of the San Marino guild of Lt. Luke's Hospital, founder and active member of the Pasadena Junior Philharmonic, founder, president and active member of Patron Saints of St. Luke's Hospital, active member of Muses, Los Angeles, a Fellow at the Huntington Library, active member of American Diabetes, sustaining member of the Spastic Children's League of Palos Verdes, member of Annandale Golf Club and The California Club. Her three loving children; Maren Rogers of Costa Mesa, Jill Swann of Ojai and Jay Jorgensen of Havasu City, AZ, will miss her tremendously as will the countless friends that knew her. She is also survived by two granddaughters, Candace Jorgensen and Stephanie Swann. Jackie's favorite association was with her college, Endicott College in Beverly, MA. In light of this, no flowers, please. Donations can be made to Endicott College. Private services will be held by the family.

I was so sorry to read of your mother's passing. Your family was a part of my youth. Our parents had lots of fun together back in the 50's and early 60's. My heartfelt sympathy to you all.
