May 15, 1929 - November 7, 2012
Janice Ann Harmon (nee Holzer) passed away on November 7, 2012 in Dana Point, California. She was born in Buffalo, New York May 15, 1929, the second daughter of Mary Schiesl and Andrew Holzer. Janice graduated from Riverside High School in Buffalo. She was married to James William Harmon (deceased 2003) for 52 years. Janice and James (Jim) raised their family in western New York and Indianapolis, Indiana. They moved to Carlsbad, California in 1986 where they retired. Janice is survived by seven sons: Timothy (Jill), Daniel, Kevin (Kathleen), Shawn (Anne), Cary (Rhonda), Christopher, and Patrick (Leigh Ann). In addition, Janice has five grandchildren: Eric, Molly, Katherine, Erin, and Kelly. She was preceded in death by her parents and her older sister Susan Edmonston.
Church services will take place Friday, December 7 at 10:30am at San Francisco Solano Catholic Church, 22082 Antonio Parkway, Rancho Santa Margarita, California followed by a celebration of Janice's life at Tim and Jill's home in Coto de Caza. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations to: Brother Bennos Foundation in Oceanside, California (www.brotherbenno.org).
