I was shocked to learn about Jesse's passing. He was a major influence in my early musical life and a good friend. He had an extreme passion for living life to the fullest, was a tremendous athlete and a very good friend to everyone . I met him and his family Margaret, Sug, Jackie and Jerry from Columbus, Ohio, before he moved to Texas and on to California. The guy could pick up a guitar and play Eagles while I was struggling to get one song correct on my piano. Seemed as though everything Jesse set out to do he did well. Because of meeting him at an early age, around 1970, I was able to meet his wonderful family and enjoy a best friendship with his sister, Jackie, who I dearly miss. My deepest condolences to his boys, his partner and his brother Jerold and the rest of the family. He will be dearly missed.

I was deeply saddend to read on Thanksgiving morning of the passing of my good college friend Jesse Haines. Jesse was a top notch personality;talanted musically and athleticly, always upbeat, positive and a lot of fun. I had the pleasure of knowing his Mother Margaret, Dad- "Sug" ,sister Jackie and brother Jerold. Jesse and I along with some other pals spent a few summers enjoying the delights of the Jersey Shore, long before the series. I wish to extend my deepest sympathies to Jesse's California Family and Friends. Jesse was one good ole boy!

The sudden loss of Jesse has left me stunned. Jesse's positive outlook made him the consummate sales engineer, in fact I learned of his passing from a loyal customer of Jesse. I had the honor to see Jesse play with his band very recently at the Coach House in Orange County. Jesse played the piano with tremendous spirit and skill on that special night. He later told me he played for his late mother who had guided him to music lessons at a young age. But then Jesse was all about family and family values. Jesse made shure all colleagues and customers became dear friends, and I was one of those lucky enough to be both.

After not seeing Jesse for several years the Lord saw fit for our paths to cross again a few months ago. I am glad I had that last chance to catch up with him. He was a great co-worker and friend. The prayers of my family go with Jesse in his new journey and the deepest sympathy for those who will miss him most.
