Jesse Lee Logan

December 6, 1930 - October 24, 2023 Jess was born in Polk County, Arkansas and moved to California when he was 3 months old. He lived in Orange County and then Gardena where he graduated from Gardena High School. He served in the US Army. He attended USC and earned his BS and MS in Mechanical Engineering. He worked in aerospace on Apollo, Gemini and Viking Space programs. Jess was an avid mountain climber. He served the Sierra Club as speaker, lobbyist and on their Conservation Committee. He served 9 years on the Manhattan Beach planning Commission. He married sweet Mitzi Okano of Tokyo, Japan and they spent over 50 years together building a home, traveling and dancing. He loved history and was the Logan Family historian who shared all the stories. He will be greatly missed. Beloved Uncle Jesse is survived by David Damron, Cynthia Moore, Tamara Scott, Fujiko Okano, Joel Moore, Crystal Kraft, Korye Rodriguez and Ayrton David Logan.
