Missing from her obituary is her girls' vice-principalship at Edison Jr. High School in the LAUSD, 1954+, where she was instrumental in guiding many of us toward roads leading to success as students and adults. She is a large part of my incentive to become a teacher. I'll never forget her, and am eternally grateful for her massive "Go do better" hugs. I was able to thank her in person later when I taught at J.H.F. Polytechnic H.S. and she was principal at Cleveland, where she was equally admired and adored.
