Linda, Scott, Kirk, Nikki, Brittany and Michael.....my heartfelt condolonces to all of you on John's passing. I never met any of you, but feel I know you all from my years of friendship with John. He was one of those special people on earth. How could one not like John....that smile. I first met John YEARS ago when he came to see a production of One Flew Over The Cuckoo's Nest in North Hollywood in which he had some other friends. John became a constant presence and, over time, a very good friend. I sat with Annie and Arthur when he would go down to SD to visit. Michael...Uncle Bob was such a major part of John's life. I loved the Uncle Bob stories. I moved from CA to MA in early 2000 and we talked AT LEAST once a month, and there were times when he would have to cut short to get his call from Uncle Bob. John became my go to person for anything SHOW BUSINESS....like our late friend, Bart, John was an encyclopedia of Show Biz.
He had a wonderful laugh. I Loved to make him laugh. He was a very caring person. Lynn...Susan, et al..you were all such a part of our phone calls over the years...and all SO special to him during his life and in becoming his "team" when that time came. I thank you all for that love that you showed him. We should all be so lucky. We know he could be such a special friend. I will miss him dearly....I will miss our monthly phone calls....I will miss being able to pick up the phone to get an answer about Show Biz. We are all so blessed to have had him in our waking, walking lives....and, now....he will remain in that special place in our hearts.
