Kenneth Stonebreaker Obituary

Stonebreaker, Kenneth Harlan "Dugan"
February 14, 1925 - October 10, 2012
Passed away October 10, 2012 in Pomona, CA. He was born February 14, 1925 in Los Angeles to James Addison Stonebreaker (L.A.P.D.) and Florence Barrett. He was raised in Anza, CA, then on 82nd St. in Los Angeles and played football for Fremont High in 1942 before enlisting in the Navy during WWII. He joined the carpenters union and the airconditioning and refrigeration Local 250 where he worked for over 20 years. He was known to be one of the best in his field. He lived in Hacienda Heights where he raised four sons who were involved with horses and the 4-H Club. In his younger years he was a boxer, enjoyed water skiing and taking his jeep off road.
He is preceeded in death by his parents, siblings and his sons, Jim, Kenny and Robert. He is survived by his son, David (Kathy), many grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Full honors burial at Riverside National Cemetery. Donations may be made to the Robert Stonebreaker Reward Fund c/o Certified Federal CU, 5601 E. Washington Blvd., City of Commerce, CA 90040 (323)859-2250.
