Dear Nels and Diane,
Leni - and all the Westland women - were instrumental in shaping me as a teacher. But Leni was especially kind and welcoming when I was a newly-arrived from Berkeley, just-out-of-college young woman. She became very important in my professional and personal life. What I learned from her about teaching and children is woven into my own teaching life. What a gift! I hope you are well and happy in your own lives. Ann
Colburn (Thompson).

I'm so sorry for your loss. Have comfort in knowing that Leni is in God's memory and we have a hope to see her again Psalms 4: 3, 8.
