Leopoldine Breiner Obituary
July 17, 1911 - November 15, 2011
Dr. Leopoldine Breiner died in Oakland, California on November 15 at the age of 100. She was born in Vienna, Austria on July 17, 1911 where she attained her medical degree in 1938. She left Austria in 1939 and practiced as a physician in Los Angeles until her retirement in the 1970s, working in general practice, pediatrics and child psychiatry. She was much loved by her patients, her friends, and her family. She was predeceased by her husband Egon Breiner. Survivors include her two sons, Peter and Tom, her daughters-in-law Chris von Buelow and Mary Kennedy-Breiner and her grandchildren, Lizzie, Ben, and Sarah. We will all miss her greatly. Graveside services will be held at 2:00 pm Sunday, November 20th at Mt. Sinai Memorial Park, 5950 Forest Lawn Drive.
