We will truly miss Lester who has been a faithful servant to many and strong advocate for pastoral counseling and AAPC. He was one of the founders of the Association and is dearly loved and deeply respected.

I met Lester many years ago when I became involved in Presbyterian Men locally and nationwide. We served together in a variety of ways. I remember working with him and Sammy Rake, at the request of then NCPM president, Dale Vandiver, to downsize the organiztion. We worked on this for about a year. Our proposal was almost 100% accepted. He will be missed by many of us in Presbyterian Men nationwide
