She was preceded in death by her loving husband Herbert. Born in in Brooklyn, New York, to Yetta and Abraham Vortreflich, Lillian was the youngest of four siblings. She moved to California in 1992, to be closer to her daughter. Blessed with an operatic voice she supported her family during the depression with her singing. For many years she was an entertainer in the Catskills Mountains, New York, where she met her future husband Herbert. To the enjoyment of her extended family, she sang at numerous family functions. In her later years, her greatest enjoyment was going to operas and other musical productions throughout Los Angeles. Lillian was a feisty woman who enjoyed politics and reading. But most of all she loved her family. She will remain in our hearts forever.
