Lisa Wiviott Obituary

September 28, 1966 - September 13, 2018 Sadly, we mourn the passing of Lisa Paula Wiviott on September 13, 2018, just days before her 52nd birthday. She slipped away with her loving family by her side. During her last year, Lisa suffered from the torments of pancreatic and bile duct cancers. Lisa was a beautiful, kind, selfless person who started her life in the state of New York. She lived in New York and Pennsylvania, before moving to California with her parents and two sisters. Residing in Northern California during her elementary, middle, and high school years, Lisa enjoyed swimming, gymnastics, and working at the local Jewish day camp. After high school, Lisa moved to Los Angeles and met her loving husband, Greg Wiviott. Together they share 4 beautiful children who were the light of Lisa's existence. All she wanted in life was to love and be loved. She showered this love on her family unconditionally. Lisa had a passion for sports and loved to watch baseball, basketball, hockey and more. Her favorite basketball team was the Golden State Warriors. And true to her devotion for the team, Lisa fought cancer like a "Warrior" herself. Lisa is survived by her mother, husband, sisters, brothers-in law, nieces and nephews, relatives, friends too numerous to mention, and her four children: Annabelle, Max, Mollie, and Lilli. Lisa was a devoted and loving wife, mother, daughter, sister, friend, and so much more. Her absence will be felt by all who were lucky enough to share her journey in life. A Memorial Service will take place at Shomrei Torah Synagogue at 7353 Valley Circle Blvd. in West Hills, CA 91304. The service will take place on Sunday, September 16, beginning at 10:00 a.m. A private burial service will take place on Monday in San Diego. In lieu of gifts and flowers, the family requests that you help find a cure for pancreatic cancer by making donations in Lisa's memory to PANCAN - Pancreatic Cancer Action Network, www.pancan.org.

When I started dating Lory Wiviott, Greg and Lisa were the first cousins I met. Lisa was pregnant with Max and and we hit it off right away. She always made me feel so instantly welcome and comfortable at every family event. I will always remember her kindness and warmth to me.
Rest in peace Lisa. XO

My beautiful Lisa. You are always a shining light. Your children are an example of the love you showered upon them. You are forever in my heart. Your smile and your kindness will always be with me. Making you laugh or smile was a joy for me. Our friendship will always hold a very special place in my heart. Being at peace with Poppy is a blessing and I am comforted knowing you are with Poppy.
I Love You Forever and Always, XO Lisa Warner

We fondly remember Lisa as a small child in Queens. She was delightful, bright and happy. I know that my parents, Eleanor and Sy, adored her. We are very saddened at this tragic loss.
With much love and our deepest condolences to the entire family, Cousins Janie and Tony
