The "Rockford Files" was my favourite TV show in the 70's.
I just found out that James Garner married Lois in 1956.
Both beautiful people inside and out.
Although it is sad that both parents have passed, they lived a long life together to the end.
Both children will make them proud.

How often do you see anyone from Hollywood get married and stay married till death. Such a beautiful thing.

Lois Garner once wrote me a letter after I wrote a newspaper article about her husband Jim´s environmental activism. They supported civil rights and many other good causes.

KIMBERLY and GIGI, I just discovered that your Mom married James, your Dad. I am sorry that he had to leave 7 years before her, but now they totally reside with one another as one in eternity. Your Mom had a long life and I know that she is loved dearly. I think of us as always living. The most important part of us never dies. I am sure that they are both watching over you two and your family and friends. If you ever have a problem or a worry and you don't know what to do, then while you are thinking of nothing the remedy comes to your mind just think of who loves you that has passed over that would have said something like that and that will help you know that they are still by your side. You will always be dearly loved by them. They will be with you to help guide you home to our Lord Almighty Gods' Great Beyond when it is your time to vaccate the vessel in which you have lived. Sorry for your loss. Although I never met your family it is still sad. My family was talking about it today. And we wanted to express our sympathy. My wife´s grandfather Billy Martin was from Norman Oklahoma. And new James growing up. He had told us a story about dating James sister. Billy has since passed so I have no way of checking his story but for us there has always been a little connection to your family, although it is a little stretch. We hope you are well and you are in our thoughts.
