I haven't seen Mark in probably 20 years, but our young days of dirt bike riding (along with John Patton) and good times will never be forgotten. He's a great person, I know he'll be missed by many.

Mark is my cousin. He and I were about the same age. He grew up in Fullerton while my 5 brothers, one sister and I, in San Diego. My best childhood memories include driving to visit Aunty Nord (Lenore), Uncle Lyman, Mark and Neinne (Ilene)often; but always on Thanksgiving. Mark always had the "coolest stuff" and he made an art of sharing it with all of us. Throughout his life, he managed acquire "cool stuff" and make it "cooler". His home, trucks, RV, bikes all refect his endless interests, inginuity, and prowess with all things mechanical. My sons still remember rides in the cab of his Mack cement mixer, pulling the air horn. Most of all, Mark was a generous, fun loving, out going, genuinely happy guy who loved people, and life and took the time to enjoy both. My great regret is that as we aged, I saw him less. I wish I had called and visited more. I cannot remember him without a big smile, a great story and some new "way cool" vehicle. Mark was a wonderful part of my life. It was great to see a his celebration that he was a big part of many lives he and his family touched. I will miss him and keep him in my prayers.

God bless you! I was so sad to read about this. TJ (my son) went to day care with Dana when they were just babies. Keep the precious memories close to your heart.
