Martin was a wise, kind and generous man with a quick mischevious smile. I was blessed to know him as a fellow parishioner at the Episcopal Church of the Advent and enjoyed singing with him (and his daughter Shelli!), in the choir. His presence, intellect, good humor and, impeccable dress made Martin stand out in a crowd. Yet, he remained friendly, approachable and kind.
He clearly loved children and they him. He and my then four or five year old daughter shared a love of the musical Cats. How they discovered this common interest, I will never know, but more than once, Martin brought her a soundtrack or slipped tickets to the theater in my hand. Then, in the parish hall, following our church service, I would find them chatting away about something from the play.
I will miss Martin as I know many will. To Diana and his children I hope that you find comfort in your memories. Know that we will be praying for you long into the days to come. Thank you for sharing Martin with us, we were blessed because you did. Much love.

Thank Dr. Weekes for so much

I remember this doctor making a home visit to see my mother after she had surgery. She always talked about Dr. Weekes. She's 93 now. Condolences to the family of this brilliant physician. Doris Pinson
