Michael White and my cousin Art were next door neighbors in the 50's in Indiana Harbor. While visiting Art I remember Michael , Jackie and Art playing cowboys and Indians yard in the backyard and riding tricycles on the front sidewalk. I remember a shiny silver cap gun being used to simulate a gun fight. as an adult Michael was a a major league baseball player.

I played cowboys/girls and Indians with him when I was a preschooler in my cousin's back yard. The Whites., the Berkes and the Finks lived in adjacent houses with a shared backyard. I am Art Berke's cousin. We were wowed when Michael became a professional baseball player.

For years my family lived next door to the Whites. Michael was in my class in elementary school. My memories are outdated, but I do want to express my condolences to Susan and Michael's wife and children. I am sorry for your loss.

Michael was our customer for many years, and as the senior customer service person, I spoke to him quite regularly. What an incredibly nice man, always a gentleman. He was such a pleasure, when new discounts came out, he was the first person I thought of helping. His charm and grace will be missed by our agency!

We have lost a wonderful person who has touched so many life's. As a coach at Santa Monica Little League he taught his players more than baseball skills.......he taught them how to be wonderful young men! Thanks for giving my sons many great memories.........You will be missed!

Mike was a dear and close friend on and off the diamond. Dear Weez, miss you, but I have a feeling you and St. Peter are having a hot game of over the line.

Mike White was one of the sharpest and classiest guys in our high school, Costa Mesa High. Great athelete and top of the GPA. I am not surprised to read of his successful law career. God Bless Him

I coached against Mike in Santa Monica Little League, and we served on the league board together. He was competitive and a gentleman, a great combination for a coach. The last time I saw him we were on jury duty together in downtown LA, and talked about UCLA Law School and baseball, both with equal amounts of affection.

I couldn't have asked for a better brother-in-law, and always looked to Michael and Molly as role models and for inspiration. I miss you Michael, and you live on in all of our memories forever.

I was a friend of Michael's in his very early years.I was an "older" friend, having been born 3 weeks prior to Michael We were a year apart in grade school because the cutoff was the end of December. We were in the same Sunday School class and learned ballroom dancing in a group together to be ready for the Bar Mitzvah parties. My cousin Art Berke lived in the same tri-plex as Michael's family. His mother Ida played Maj Jong with my mother, Ann Goodman, and my Aunt Eve Berke. My fondest memories are of playing cowboys and cowgirl together with Michael, Jack Fink and my cousin Art in their backyard. We were only three or four years old at the time but the sense of comraderie still remains. May you all be comforted in your loss. Susan, I remember you too. I wonder if you remembers me??

We have lost a dear friend and a dedicated colleague. We feel cheated out of spending years with Mike and Molly and are grateful for those we had. A good man.
