Nancy Kay Levin

June 21, 1944 - September 11, 2025 Nancy Levin, 81, passed away peacefully in Santa Fe, New Mexico, surrounded by loved ones, on September 11, 2025. Nancy was born in Kansas City, Missouri, where she was adopted and raised by S. Bernard and Katherine Joffee (née Redman). She graduated from the University of Colorado Boulder before moving to California, where she worked in advertising and later met her husband and best friend of 42 years, Michael Levin, who died in 2010. Possessing a big personality and a wicked sense of humor, she was an avid lover of arts and culture, collecting art from New Mexico and beyond, attending opera and theater performances, and traveling the world with Michael, her family, and friends. She was an active member of the Stephen Wise Temple community in Los Angeles, serving for a time as the Vice President of the Board. She is survived by her children Amanda, Benjamin, and Bernard, her grandchildren Tess and Aviva, her brother James, and by her extended family and friends, to whom she was deeply devoted. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to charities important to her, including the Juvenile Diabetes Foundation, the American Cancer Society, the Venice Family Clinic, or anything related to animals.
Services will be held at 4pm on September 28, 2025, at Stephen Wise Temple in Bel Air, California.
